DRI Sludge

DRI Sludge is a byproduct of the Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) production process, primarily consisting of iron oxide fines. This material is generated during the direct reduction process that transforms iron ore into metallic iron at temperatures below the melting point. Retaining much of the iron’s inherent purity, DRI Sludge is an economical and environmentally friendly resource for steelmakers, particularly useful in sintering processes and as a supplemental feed in electric arc furnaces (EAF).
